Opioid problems among Ohio Medicaid patients quadrupled in recent years: Report

A new report from Ohio Auditor Dave Yost’s office found between 2010 and 2016, Medicaid recipients with opioid-related dependence, abuse or overdose diagnoses climbed 430 percent. The study compared Ohio Medicaid patients to a national Blue Cross Blue Shield report on commercially insured patients.
