‘Revolutionary’: Some Oligometastatic Cancers Are Curable

General physicians and many oncologists think of metastatic cancer as being “widely disseminated and incurable” in most cases involving solid tumors in adults, said Ralph Weichselbaum, MD, a radiation oncologist at the University of Chicago here at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) 2018 annual meeting.
